This is the 8th edition of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup is to take place in South Africa and will be the first time that all the officials will be women. The 23 fixtures will be played in three iconic venues where the excitement has been building. Some of the star players to look out for include

Women's T20 World Cup Format
The 10 teams are split into 2 groups of five (as seen above) where the top 2 from each will progress to the semi-finals. Where 1st in Group A will play 2nd from Group B and visa versa o the 23rd and 24th of February. The winners of these matches will meet in the final schedule for the 26th of February.

Boland Park -Paarl
6 group stage matches as three doubleheaders will take place at the 10000-capacity Boland Park.
St George’s Park Cricket Ground - Gqeberha
Five matches will be played here where up to 19000 fans will experience the highest calibre of Women’s T20 Cricket. The action starts on Valentine's Day when the favourites and 5 times Winners Australia take on Sri Lanka
Newlands Cricket Ground - Cape Town
This 25000 capacity ground will host 12 games including the opening match between South Africa and Sri Lanka. Also, both semi-finals and the final will be played here, under the gaze of Table Mountain.
