A bit about Mark
Mark has a science background and was a prominent part of the online community that first used numbers to quantify football/soccer in the early 2000’s. An early advocate of expected goals, he’s written extensively for a variety of USA and UK based betting sites, both on soccer and the NFL. As a statistical modeller he built and helped bring to market the first expected goals app for a mainstream UK betting company. Mark is interested in any sport that has an ample supply of data, but primarily soccer and American Football.
What advice would you give to the community?
Always think probabilistically and have an idea about how likely an event is to occur before parting with your money. Value is a vital and fun part of making an informed wager.

Netherlands vs Turkey Predictions and Odds: Can Turkish Teamwork Overcome Dutch Starpower?
The Netherlands’ reward for finishing as the best third-place team has been a place in the softer half of the draw and a relatively easy route to the semi-finals. They brushed aside Romania, the 23rd-ranked side out of 24, in the Round of 16 and now face Turkey. Turkey was disappointed as a dark horse in Euro 2020, but they fulfilled that role in 2024 and are the lowest-ranked team remaining in the competition...

England topped group C, unbeaten with one win and two draws.
