In Brunson’s last two games at Madison Square Garden, he has scored a total of 66 points. I do anticipate him to hit the OVER on that average tonight. My second best Knicks vs Celtics player prop is going to be a play on Mikal Bridges.
Mikal has been fantastic in the postseason on both ends of the court for the Knicks, and he’s also averaging the most minutes played in the playoffs over every other player. Bridges is going to need to be a factor on the offensive end especially when Brunson comes out of the game. The Knicks have found a ton of success with the second unit when Bridges is the primary ball-handler, which is what we’ll see in Game 6.
Bridges has also started to see his 3-point shot fall, and his offense in general has improved dramatically from the regular season up until now. I expect that to continue into tonight’s game, and at home, he is going to need to be the second-best scorer. Let’s see Mikal get hot early, and let’s move to 2-0 on these props.
Jaylen Brown | OVER 25.5 points | -130 at FanDuel
We played this prop in the last game, and it won for us. We have many of the same reasons to play this play yet again tonight. Jaylen Brown needs to be the team’s best offensive weapon with Jayson Tatum out.
Brown had a huge first half in the Celtics’ Game 5 win over the Knicks, and he was pulled from that blowout game early. However, he was still able to cash our over 25.5 point prop. It is the same line in this game, and I expect a very similar result. Jaylen will most certainly get his tonight, and he will have enough looks to cash this bet.
