Kawhi Leonard | Over 25.5 points | -130 at DraftKings
We will start with my best Nuggets vs Clippers player prop, which is going to be Kawhi Leonard over 25.5 points.
Now that the Clippers are back on the road, they will need more out of their star players. Kawhi averaged just under 30 points over the first two games that were played in Denver, and for this Clippers team to have a chance to take this game, he is going to need to do that again here in Game 5.
Throughout Kawhi’s career, he has always shown up in big playoff games, and this is absolutely a massive game for this series and for both teams’ potential NBA Finals run. I expect the Clippers to fully feature Kawhi on the offensive end and continuously get him opportunities to score. Kawhi should have no issue getting over the 30-point mark here, which gives us plenty of room.

Porter has regressed since the Nuggets’ championship days, and this team really relies heavily on other players in the offensive game plan. We’re fading him as part of our best Nuggets vs Clippers player props as a result.
In half the games of this series, Michael Porter Jr was held to under 10 points, which is more in the range I expect him to be in for Game 5. Porter Jr. did average 18 points per game in the regular season so that does make me a bit hesitant, but in these big playoff games, the team will be looking for other players to anchor them in the scoring department.
I see guys like Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray having bigger offensive outputs, and with a low game total – the game sits at 208.5 points – there just aren’t enough points to go around for everyone.

My third and final prop in the game is going to be Nikola Jokic with 12.5 rebounds.
I do anticipate this game to be a defensive battle, as these teams match up with each other very well. The good news for Jokic rebound props, is that Zubac, who will be guarding him, stays in the paint for the majority of the game, which leads to inflated rebounding numbers for the superstar.
