We are back with our best Knicks vs Celtics player props for Game 2.
The Knicks took Game 1 in Boston in a thrilling overtime win that saw the Boston Celtics miss 45 (!) 3-point shots in the game. Will the Celtics adjust their gameplan? Or, will the Knicks continue to scrap and claw and battle against the reigning champions?
Let’s break down our best Knicks vs Celtics player props.
Remember to make your NBA picks throughout the playoffs with the best sportsbooks.
Game 2 is going to need to be the Jalen Brunson show if the Knicks want to take a 2-0 series lead.

Jalen Brunson | OVER 26.5 points | -115 at FanDuel
We will start with my favorite Knicks vs Celtics prop of the game, which is going to be Jalen Brunson over 26.5 points.
Game 2 is going to need to be the Jalen Brunson show if the Knicks want to take a 2-0 series lead and remain undefeated on the road in the 2025 playoffs. Brunson had a monster Game 1, especially in the fourth quarter. He scored a total of 29 points, and that is coming off the back of a very slow first half by his standards.

After cashing our Brunson prop in Game 1, we are running it back yet again in this spot, I am a bit surprised his total has dropped a full point from last game, especially with him going over this total in all but one playoff game so far in the 2025 playoffs. This is by far my favorite play, let’s cash it.
Knicks vs Celtics odds
Miles McBride | OVER 5.5 points | -110 at FanDuel
My second of three Knicks vs Celtics player props is going to be a play on Deuce McBride.
Deuce is the X-Factor off the bench – he’s the primary scoring threat. To have his points at only 5.5 is a bit shocking. Deuce scored 11 points in the first game between these two teams, and I expect a very similar output for him in this game. Deuce is a 3-point shooter and hits them at a good rate for this Knicks team, and we only need him to hit two.
To put it in perspective, the Knicks scored 14 bench points in Game 1 – 11 of those were from Miles McBride. He played a total of 19 minutes (none in overtime), and I expect him to get right around 20 minutes in tonight’s matchup as well. He’s aggressive and will get his shots up.
Jayson Tatum | OVER 27.5 points | -110 at FanDuel
Tatum needs to step it up in Game 2 to avoid going down 2-0 at home. He’s the one player who I believe is at his healthiest right now, and can score from all three levels on the offensive side.
Tatum I believe will put his head down and attack the rim a lot more tonight, which is exactly how he should be playing to utilize his skill set the best. In Game 1, he only scored 23 points, but he missed 16 shots in that game. He’s going to need to stay aggressive in this series, and tonight is a perfect spot for him to be able to get his.
I don’t think anybody expects the Celtics to shoot as terribly as they did in Game 1, and Tatum will be the guy who is going to have to change that narrative. Porzingis, Jrue Holiday, and Jaylen Brown are all still banged up, so they need the healthy star in Tatum to carry them. Let’s ride him as part of our best Knicks vs Celtics player props.
