With players not needing to worry about the RBC Heritage projected cut line, it allowed players to really enjoy some stress free golf at the 2024 RBC Heritage. And without the added pressure, Scottie Scheffler took home another victory with ease, as he won the tournament by 4 strokes. Scheffler began the tournament as the favorite in the RBC Heritage odds, as he’s now won four of the last five events he’s played in.

Current Favorites to win the RBC Heritage

Scottie Scheffler (+900 at DraftKings sportsbook)

Scheffler comes to South Carolina on an absolute heater. His odds to win the RBC Heritage are as low as we used to see Tiger Woods priced back when he was the number one golfer in the world. The only thing holding Scheffler back this week is the fact that his wife is due to have a baby and at any moment he could leave Harbour Town and be at the hospital for the arrival of his new child.

Xander Schauffele (+13000 at DraftKings sportsbook)

It was an impressive showing for Schauffele at Augusta and the odds to win the RBC Heritage are represented in that. He finished solo eighth place at the Masters and returns to a course where he finished fourth last year. His seven top tens this season are only eclipsed by Scheffler’s eight top ten finishes. It’s coming up on two years since Xander last won a PGA tour event, however, the odds to win the RBC Heritage fancy him to be a major player this week.

Rory McIlroy (+2500 at FanDuel sportsbook)

Another player favored to win and with low odds to win the RBC Heritage is McIlroy. Rory once again couldn’t get the job done at the Masters as it still eludes him as being the only major, he has never won. The Northern Irishman is seeking his first tour victory since he won the Genesis Scottish Open last July. The world number two golfer has only one top ten this season and sits in 41st place in the FedEx Cup standings for the season.

Patrick Cantlay (+1100 at bet365 sportsbook)

2021 Tour Champion Cantlay arrives in South Carolina not in the best form of his career, but according to the odds to win the RBC Heritage he is right near the top. With just one top ten finish in eight starts this season it has been disappointing for Cantlay. However, one reason he has such low odds to win the RBC Heritage is that in six appearances at this venue he has four top three finishes and a tie for seventh place on his resume.

Collin Morikawa (+600 at DraftKings sportsbook)

After a tie for third at the Masters Morikawa has seen his odds to win the RBC Heritage shoot up. Overall, 2024 has been a down year for the American, but he loves to play at Harbour Town where he is four for four in making cuts in his career. The two-time major champion hasn’t won an event that paid money on tour since the Open Championship in 2021.

RBC Heritage Longshot

J.T. Poston (was +6500 with DraftKings Sportsbook, now +1000 bet365 sportsbook)

A longshot pick to win the RBC Heritage is American J.T. Poston. The 30-year-old with two career tour wins is having another solid season. Coming off a tie for 30th at the Masters, Poston has recorded three top ten finishes in 2024. With three top 25 finishes in his career at Harbour Town, Poston could be the longshot that comes through for you this week in South Carolina.

RBC Heritage betting trends

A crazy trend to keep an eye on this week is Scheffler’s current run that he is on. Scheffler has not shot a round over par all season and there is no reason to think he won’t continue that trend this week. Scheffler has only played once at the RBC Heritage and it was last season when he finished tied for eleventh place.

RBC Heritage debutants

Ludvig Aberg (+1200 with DraftKings sportsbook)

Making his RBC Heritage debut, Ludvig Aberg is a name to keep under watch as his rookie season on tour continues to impress. A solo second at Augusta has the golf world wanting more of the freshman on tour. His odds to win the RBC Heritage are quite low for a rookie and someone who has never played on that course before, but you could argue that about Augusta where he made his debut this past week and finished solo second behind tournament winner Scheffler.

How to bet on RBC Heritage

There are a number of ways to bet on the RBC Heritage this week. One bet that stands out however, is that Scottie Scheffler will lead after the first round and go on to win the tournament. At +1800 for this to happen you would need to risk $10 to win $180.
