Is sports betting legal in Michigan?

Michigan sports betting laws
The law in Michigan requires all those using legal Michigan sportsbooks to be aged 21 or over, but it doesn't require you to be a resident. The law sets the state tax on sports betting revenue, not profits, at 8.4%. Although in Detroit, an additional 1.25% city tax is paid by commercial casinos.
The law also states that operators who wish to obtain a license must pay a $50,000 application fee, then an additional $100,000 for the license itself, with an operating fee each year of $50,000. It also requires any online operators to be partnered with a land-based casino.
