A bit about Jack
I've written professionally in some capacity since I was 21 and have subsequently worked in upper management for multiple successful companies. Since 2020, I've been engaged in the sports and sports gambling space, especially with Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS), where I’ve been both a profitable player and content provider for various sites. I mainly specialize in MLB, NHL, NFL, and NBA, but I have dabbled in a variety of other sports both as a DFS player and writer. In addition, I've covered betting strategy, sportsbooks, state legal gambling news, casino gambling, and more.
What advice would you give to the community?
Most prominently, while the first step to becoming interested in DFS/sports betting is often fandom, it is essential to take that aspect out of the picture to a degree if you want to be profitable. Intelligent decisions made in sports gambling should be based on data and not on the inherent biases of any sports fan.
